Leadership
Chota Mwila
Chief Engineer
Chota Mwila is a certified Civil Engineer with extensive experience in construction and project management. He has supervised projects across the full project lifecycle, from design and planning through construction and completion.
His project experience includes the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society Translation Houses in Western Province, Mwamba and Mumbi Mfumu Bridges, the Turnpike–Mazabuka and Lwalizi–Chibale feeder roads, and earthworks associated with Novare Pinnacle Mall in Woodlands.
Chota brings strong technical expertise, hands-on construction experience and project leadership to SHIM, ensuring that projects are delivered with a strong focus on engineering quality, safety, efficiency and compliance.
Ilunga Mwila
Commercial Manager
Ilunga Mwila is a Rhodes University graduate with a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree in Economics and more than seven years of experience in commercial management.
She is a customer-focused professional with experience managing key accounts within a fast-paced multinational environment. Her background encompasses commercial management, stakeholder engagement, administration and client relationship management.
At SHIM, Ilunga brings a strong commercial and client-service perspective to the business, supporting effective project coordination, stakeholder communication and the development of solutions that align with both client expectations and commercial objectives.
